This means they have completed the required criteria for recognition as a guide in the eyes of the state in which they practice. Elk hunting guides can be affiliated with private or public entities, such as private hunting services, state parks or other gaming organizations. Guide services often go above and beyond the call of duty to make their clients feel comfortable and keep a strong level of order during the hunt.
